The new education project will come into effect next academic year

ARK News… The new education project is one of the most important projects of the ninth booth of the Kurdistan Regional Government to serve the education sector, as the project consists of 185 subjects, and it is expected to be implemented in the next academic year.

A member of the Education Committee in the Kurdistan Parliament, Gulistan Baqi, told (BasNews): “The education project that the Council of Ministers sent to the Kurdistan Parliament, we worked on for more than a year,” explaining: “The project aims to further organize the education sector, and it consists of 185 articles.

She added, “We had an education law before, but it was not as good and broad as this project. Good work has been done on the education project in the current parliamentary session, and it will lead to better organization in the future.”

Baqi stressed that "all the subjects of this project are important, the most important of which is related to creating a good and organized environment in schools so that students can obtain the best knowledge."

She pointed out that «the draft law was sent to the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region for final notes, and we expect that the project will enter into force throughout the Kurdistan Region next academic year».
