Iran Says It Has Full Control Over the Strait of Hormuz
ARK News.. Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said that the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iran’s control, rejecting Washington’s claims regarding the movement of ships through the strategic waterway.
In a statement, the Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said that Washington’s claims that ships are moving normally through the Strait of Hormuz are “baseless” and nothing more than lies.
It added that no vessel can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz without Iran’s permission and supervision.
On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump said that the Strait of Hormuz was fully under Washington’s control and that ships were passing through it in coordination with U.S. forces, which he said were imposing a naval blockade on Iran.
