Afrin... “Barzani Charity” supports an office with about 200 books

ARK News… Within the framework of supporting and developing culture in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, the Barzani Charitable Foundation provided hundreds of books to an office.

The Barzani Charity Foundation said on its official Facebook page: “On April 20, 2024, the Afrin office provided the Barzani Charity Foundation with approximately 200 various books to the library of a young man named Muhammad Abdel Hamid.”

The foundation explained that the aim of providing the books is to "support and develop culture and science in Afrin."

The Barzani Charity Foundation is the first humanitarian organization that helped the cities of Afrin and Jenderes and their countryside by arriving in the region after the February 2023 earthquake.

On February 19, 2023, it officially opened an office in the city center of Afrin, to continue providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the earthquake. On June 4, it opened a cultural and development center called the “Barzani Center for Culture and Development.”
