President Barzani visits the “Barzani Camp” for members and cadres of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria

ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, visited the “Barzani Camp - First Session” for the youth and cadres of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, in the Barzan region, with the aim of inspecting the camp and seeing its events and activities closely.

During his visit to the camp, President Masoud Barzani was accompanied by a number of officials, led by Mullah Mustafa Barzani and Azad Barwari.

Member of the Political Bureau and official of the National Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in the Kurdistan Region, Saeed Omar, stated that establishing this camp falls within the framework of efforts to strengthen the political and cultural capabilities of party youth.

The camp included a series of lectures and theoretical lessons in politics, history and culture, with the aim of broadening the horizons of the participants and increasing their awareness of important issues.

The camp's activities and events included field visits to the Shrine of the Immortals, the Barzani National Museum, the Anfal Barzani Martyrs Monument, and many archaeological monuments.

Within the framework of the camp program, the work and activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation in Syrian Kurdistan were reviewed through visual content (infographics).

Saeed Omar, official of the National Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in the Kurdistan Region, welcomed President Masoud Barzani and the guests and said: “Your presence in the camp is a pride for our party and the participating cadres.” Stressing, “The party and its cadres will continue to follow Barzani’s approach and work seriously in all the party’s organizations.”

Saeed Omar added, “The aim of organizing this camp is to strengthen the capabilities and skills of party youth, and to motivate them to participate effectively in party organizations and joint work.”

For his part, the camp director, Azad Jamkari, spoke about the number of participants and their geographical distribution, noting that “the participants received many theoretical and practical lectures and lessons, and we tried to make them benefit from them, to achieve the desired goals in developing partisan youth.”

The events and activities of the camp's closing ceremonies were attended by a high-ranking delegation from the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, which included Haji Kalo, a member of the Political Bureau, "Mohamed Ali, Hiyam Abdel Rahman, Mohamed Shirin, Hevi Wanli, and Hanan Sido," members of the Central Committee, in addition to an official from the Roj Organization Karim Mirani.

During the closing ceremony, the participants were honored with graduation certificates in appreciation of their effective participation, and the Newroz Folklore Band of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria presented a number of Kurdish popular dances.
