ARK News… The Kurdish National Council in Syria commemorated the first anniversary of the passing of the fighter Muhammad Mulla Issa in Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan.

The commemoration ceremony took place today, Thursday 2/5/2024, at the grave of the national figure and freedom fighter Muhammad Mulla Issa in the village of “Derfilît” in Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan.

Adnan Bozan, head of the Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, delivered a speech of the National Council, in which he spoke about the virtues of the fighter in serving the Kurdish cause.

The freedom fighter, Muhammad Mulla Issa, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in 1970. He fought there with all dedication and sincerity in the cities of Kobani, Aleppo, and Raqqa, and he remained in the immortal path of Barzani until he passed away.

The freedom fighter Muhammad Mulla Issa passed away on May 2, 2023 after suffering from an incurable illness in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. His body was buried in his birthplace, the village of “Derfilît” in Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan.
