United Nations: Resuming the crossing of aid from the Bab al-Hawa crossing into Syria
ARK News: Private sources reported that the United Nations decided to resume the crossing of aid through the Bab al-Hawa crossing, starting on Tuesday.
The sources said, "A convoy of 17 trucks is expected to arrive via Bab al-Hawa after the authorization granted to the United Nations by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Action."
Last week, a United Nations delegation visited the Humanitarian Coordination Office in Idlib, after authorizing the use of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey to bring in humanitarian aid.
The visit came after an agreement concluded by the United Nations with the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Action, under which the Office granted a mandate to UN agencies and humanitarian organizations to resume the entry of humanitarian aid through the Bab al-Hawa crossing into northern Syria.
According to correspondence between the two parties, it was agreed to make the necessary arrangements to ensure the readiness of the crossing to receive humanitarian aid and its passage to northwestern Syria.
