Masrour Barzani: We Hope Eid Will Mark a New Beginning for Tolerance and the Consolidation of Peace and Stability
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani issued a congratulatory message on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The statement reads as follows:
“With the arrival of the blessed Eid al-Adha, we extend our sincerest congratulations and highest blessings to all Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and across the world.
We especially pay tribute to the brave Peshmerga forces, the internal security forces, and the families and relatives of the honorable martyrs and Anfal victims, wishing everyone days filled with joy, reassurance, and happiness.
We all hope that this blessed Eid will mark a new beginning for spreading the spirit of tolerance and serve as a gateway toward consolidating the foundations of peace and stability in Kurdistan, the region, and throughout the world. Blessed Eid al-Adha, and may you always remain in the best of health and prosperity.”
