A commander of an armed group imposes unfair decisions against Kurdish citizens in rural Afrin

ARK News: The leader of the Kata’eb al-Islam, named Abu Audai, imposed several unfair decisions on the residents of the village in rural Afrin, Kurdistan regarding the imposition of fines on the olive season this year.

An informed source reported to ARK News that “Abu Audai, the commander of the group of Kata’eb el-Islam who controls the village of Kela belonging to Rajo town imposed several unfair decisions on the people of the village, which forcing them to pay 2000 Syrian Pounds of each an olive tree, then he reduced the amount later to 1000 Syrian pounds for allowing people to go to their olive groves and harvest the crop.”

The source added that “the previous decision was replaced by another decision, which is to impose fines on the villagers of 300 containers of olive oil from the production of the crop in exchange for allowing the people of the village to go to their fields and harvest their crops.”

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish factions, which participated in the occupation of Afrin city, committed dozens of crimes against the people of the city and its rural, killing, kidnapping and torture, along with looting and theft, burning agricultural crops, the seizure of property of citizens, and the destruction of monuments which lead to the change of Afrin’s region demography.
