The Locality of East Qamishlo of the National Council discusses the latest political and field developments

ARK News... The Local Council east of Qamishlo of the Kurdish National Council in Syria on Friday, October 28, 2022, held its regular meeting

The attendees talked about the meeting of the Kurdish National Council with the new American envoy in the region, where the meeting dealt with several issues in the Kurdish arena, especially those related to Afrin and Jabhat al-Nusra’s attack on the region, the violation of the PYD’s Revolutionary Youth and its attack on the sit-ins, the United Nations headquarters, and the closure of schools and institutes was discussed, which led to open the door to immigration in light of the difficult living conditions experienced by the people of Syrian Kurdistan.

The attendees discussed the Council's conference and the necessity of holding it, in addition to organizational matters.

Muhammad Siddiq, the head of the locality, also spoke about the activities of the locality for the month of October 2022 and the active participation of members in the sit-ins organized by both civil society organizations and the Kurdish National Council.
