Afrin .. Rain brought the joy to the hearts of peasants
ARK News: Despite the low recent of a rainfall rate in Afrin Kurdistan yesterday, 22/10/2018, it has returned the smile and optimism in the hearts of the peasants.
According to a farmer from Afrin who reported to the ARK Media that the rains gave joy to the hearts of peasants who were waiting for the rain to begin the second stage of olive harvest.
The same farmer added that after the end of the first phase of harvesting the green olives, it is possible to enter the second phase and start with relaxing and without obstacles after the rains on the whole Afrin region.
It is noteworthy that the Afrin region is famous for olive trees and agricultural land that rely on the rainwater, and the majority of Kurds’ population in the villages and towns of Afrin are engaged in agriculture and livestock breeding.
