Nechirvan Barzani: The teachers of Kurdistan in the days of the revolution and in the era of liberation have a permanent and large leading role in the education and upbringing of the Kurdish individual

Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, on Thursday, 14 May 2020, congratulated the Federation of Kurdistan Teachers on the 58th anniversary of its founding, saying in the telegram: In the days of the revolution and in the era of liberation, the teachers of Kurdistan had a major and permanent leadership role in the upbringing and cultivation of the Kurdistani individual.

In his telegram, President Nechirvan Barzani said: "On the fifty-eighth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Teachers Union, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Kurdistan Teachers Union and all of the teachers and teachers of Kurdistan, hoping for their continued pride and success, and we salute and appreciate our efforts, agony, struggle and sacrifices for the sake of raising and nurturing the Kurdish generations."

He added: "The teachers of Kurdistan during the days of the revolution and in the era of liberation had a permanent and major leadership role in the education and upbringing of the Kurdish individual and they are still, and in the most complex and difficult days they did not abandon their sacred duty in education, and they never left the people of Kurdistan without education."

He emphasized: "The teachers constitute one of the most important segments and a main pillar for the progress of any society, and there is no doubt that they deserve better life and living conditions, so on this anniversary we reaffirm our support for their rights, thank them and shake their hands on their toiling hands. Glory to the memory of the founding of the Kurdistan Teachers Union."
