ARK News... Russia, Iran, and Turkey announced in a statement at the conclusion of the Astana 18 talks on Syria, on Thursday, that the need to implement the agreements related to northern Syria.

In the final statement, the guarantor states renewed their firm commitment to the sovereignty, integrity, and territorial integrity of Syria, stressing their determination to continue working to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The statement affirmed standing against separatist agendas aimed at undermining Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement also condemned terrorist attacks targeting civilian facilities in Syria.

The final statement stressed the need to continue continuous cooperation in order to eliminate the “Islamic State” and al-Nusra terrorists and the groups associated with them, pointing to the leading role of the Astana process in settling the Syrian crisis.

In addition, the parties reviewed the situation in the de-escalation zone in Idlib and stressed the need to maintain calm on the ground.

The statement condemned the continued Israeli military attacks on Syria, stressing that they violate international law, international humanitarian law, and the sovereignty of Syria and neighboring countries, and endanger stability and security in the region, and demanded their cessation.

In a related context, the head of the Syrian government delegation to the Astana meeting said that the illegal American presence on Syrian territory aims to impede the consolidation of stability in the service of the interests of the Zionist entity.

For his part, the Syrian Foreign Minister said that the Wild West did not say a word to condemn Israeli aggression that put out of service a civilian facility, Damascus Airport.

He added that the so-called safe zone that Erdogan wants is for the settlement of the terrorists he has trained, and we ask all countries not to support his ambitions.
