Violations of pro-Turkish armed groups continue in rural Afrin

ARK News: Pro-Turkish armed groups still continue their daily and systematic violations against Kurdish citizens from the abduction, assault, and robbery of their property and encroachment on forest trees, olive trees and perennial trees which located within the villages either by cutting or burning them in the Afrin region of Kurdistan, Syria.

According to private sources from the village of Alamdar that “the elements belonging to the Failaq Sham who control the village of Alamdar belonging to Rajo ton, prevented people who are in the neighboring villages and in the city of Afrin to return to their homes, under pretexts and illusions that the village is as a military zone, despite the calls and complaints by the villager to the local authorities.”

According to those sources that the commander of the faction belonging to Failaq Sham called Abu Osman has been rented the agricultural land of displaced shepherds for money, so he acts in the village’s properties as if they were his father's farms, where the elements of the same faction and in cooperation with the displaced who seized the homes of Kurds citizens by force by cutting large and old trees inside the village and turning these trees into firewood in order to sell them.

The same source confirmed that Abu Osman transferred the village school to a cattle farm, forgetting that this place is for science and knowledge and the formation of the new generation, and not for other special purposes and that his elements who guard the checkpoint at the village junction loot and rob everyone passing through the public road.

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish army factions, which participated in the occupation of the city of Afrin, committed dozens of crimes against the people of the city and its countryside, killing, kidnapping, and torture, along with looting and theft, burning agricultural crops, the seizure of property of citizens, and the destruction of monuments and religious and a threat of murder and kidnapping in order to demand ransom has become behavior and systematic by all factions and armed groups located on the dust of Afrin Kurdistan.
