Condemnation from ENKS about the kidnapping of a leader of the Kurdistan People's Party
ARK News… PYD gunmen, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, kidnapped Mr. Hanan Sheikh Bahaa, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan People’s Party, to an unknown destination. This comes within the framework of the escalation policy against our people and their political movement and all those who disagree with them.
The Kurdish National Council, while condemning these intimidating acts that are far from the values of freedom and which increase the resentment and anxiety of the Kurdish people, demands his release and the cessation of these disgraceful practices against our people and the Kurdish National Council, and to fabricate arguments for their continuation.
The Council also calls on the American side and the leadership of the SDF to put an end to these violations and kidnappings, which in no way serve the stability of the region and its people.
