The Council of Bulbul in Afrin: 6% the wage of the town olive pressers

ARK News: The local council in Bulbul town issued a circular, a copy of which reached to the ARK news, which lists the wages of the olive presses and the workers of the harvest and the workers of the pressers and is based on 9 points.

Further to our circular No. 1 / dated on 29/9/2018 regarding the administrative instructions governing the process of olive harvesting and the Council's supervision of this work based on previous administrative decisions, the following shall be decided:

1. The harvest worker's wage is set at / 1500 / Syrian pounds only and the working hours are from 7 am to 3 pm.

2. The wage of the workers who wish to work for the crop is determined by 1 in 10, that’s the worker gets the bag of the tenth of every ten bags.

3. The pressing cost of the pressers is /6% / only.

4. Transfer and pressing of the production outside the Council sector shall be prohibited under the responsibility of punishment, prosecution and criminal and confiscation of the crop.

5. The cost of transferring the crop from the fields to the olive pressers is the responsibility of the farmer.

6. The empty olive bags are secured by pressers.

7. The price of the metal tank in the presser is 800 Syrian pounds.
8. The daily worker's price is set at the olive pressers / 3000 /S.P. for the regular worker and / 5000 /S.P. for the technician.

9. This circular shall be communicated to those who are required to work under it and to circulate in public places and at the doors of the olive presses.
