Afrin ... circulating from the local council in Rajo regarding the olive season

ARK News: The local council in Rajo town of Kurdish Afrin region issued a circular regarding the olives and how to preserve the civilians’ crop in the town and the villages belonging to it.

In order to preserve the season and improve the process of the olive harvest, we emphasize the following:

1. It is strictly forbidden to owners of shops, minimarkets and sellers buying olives on 15/11/2018 under the responsibility of legal responsibility.
2. To the owners and investors of the pressers running them on 20/10/2018 and excludes the operation of two or more of the pressers to press olive which ( ripping and falling early under the trees) on 10/10/2018.

3. The owners and investors of the olive pressers have to review the local council and the governor of Turkey to take the approval of the operation and registration of the press at the Council and informed him in advance about the readiness of the press and the production capacity in preparation for operating them in the operation of the olive pressing.
4. The oil and olive traders should review the council for their registration in the schedule for granting them seasonal licenses from the local council.
5. Cooperation and coordination between the local council and the military and civilian police of supervising and conducting patrolling to facilitate the process of harvesting the crop.

6. Appealing the concerned authorities of the Turkish state to allow to the export of oil and olives and the import the metal tanks and burlap bags.

7. The Merchants registered to the Council shall make a financial receipt from the Council when exporting any quantity of oil and olives to the Republic of Turkey and after taking the approvals from the competent security authorities.

8. Providing security for the olive pressers in cooperation with the military and civilian police and the Council /as an observer/.

9. The Council will carry out technical tours on the olive pressers to oversee the good conduct of the pressing of the productive capacity and the quality of oil extracted from them.

10. The local council is the body responsible for harvesting the crop and the pressers and has the full authority to take all the necessary legal procedures for any violation in an original way.

11. We call on all brothers in the factions to adhere to Circular No. 84 dated 19/9/2018 issued by the National Army Chief of Staff.

12. The citizens of the owners of agricultural real estate within Rajo town and its villages have to press the olive in the pressers of Rajo town and its villages exclusively and when absolutely necessary, the required amount to be pressed transferred to Turkey or the nearest presser outside Rajo town and its villages and with the consent of the Council predecessors.

13. As for the absent brothers, in exceptional circumstances, a mechanism was set up by the Council of how to manage and pick up their property by means of official documents duly authenticated and registered (voice and image saved in archive).
