ARK News... The European Union held a virtual summit with China on Friday.

"The meeting will focus on the role that we urge China to play, that is, to be on the side of the principles of international law without ambiguity, and to exert all necessary influence and pressure on Russia," said the French Minister in charge of European Affairs, Clement Bonn.

And earlier, US media, quoting informed sources, said that China will adhere to its position on the Ukrainian crisis at the upcoming summit with the European Union, and will also express its concern about NATO's expansion in Europe.

The European Union will be represented at the summit by the President of the European Council and the European Commission, Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell. China will be represented by President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
