ARK News… The Secretary of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party revealed information about the PKK, declaring that this party, since its founding, has eliminated all Kurdish parties and movements in Kurdistan Turkey, and cleared the political arena of any Kurdish movements.

Muhammad Haji Mahmoud says on pages 32-33 of his diary that he wrote a lot during his ancient struggle, which he published under the name (Peshmerga Diaries). These diaries talk about the events that have swept the Kurdistan Region since the nineties of the last century, in which he says: The PKK is a party from Turkish Kurdistan, founded by Abdullah Ocalan. This party - that is, the PKK - does not believe at all in any other Kurdish force, and it has eliminated any Kurdish movement in Turkish Kurdistan in the beginning and cleared its calculations.

Regarding the occupation of separate areas of Duhok and Erbil governorates by the PKK, Haji Mahmoud says: After the March uprising of 1991, the PKK benefited from the security vacuum that the region experienced at the time, and occupied large areas of the border areas of Duhok Governorate and the Bradost region of Erbil, and imposed its control over these areas, and it built its headquarters in the Bahdinan area and cut off the roads in front of the citizens who were displaced by the Baathist regime and previously displaced from returning to their areas and villages and managing their lives.

Regarding the reasons for the Turkish army’s incursion into the borders of the Kurdistan Region, Muhammad Haji Mahmoud attributed that to an agreement concluded between the Iraqi regime and Ankara, which requires allowing the Turkish army to penetrate 15-20 kilometers deep into the Iraqi border in order to strike the PKK bases, and in the meantime, he stressed that the PKK began building its headquarters and bases in the Bahdinan area and launched attacks against the Turkish state from it, and began its war against Turkey without the approval of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, or the Kurdistan Regional Government, which gave the justification for Turkey to invade the borders of the region Kurdistan and the incursion into the territory.

Haji Mahmoud continued in his diary, saying: The PKK does not believe in joint struggle with other Kurdish parties and movements, nor does it believe in any alliance or agreement with any Kurdish party, but rather, it believes that Ocalan must lead all parts of Kurdistan, and that it sees him as the national leader of the entire Kurds, and that everyone should implement the decisions of the PKK without exception.

With regard to relations between the occupying and usurping countries of Kurdistan, Haji Mahmoud says that the PKK invests the name of Greater Kurdistan and other emotional goods to influence the people’s feelings and conscience and create trust among some, and accuses other Kurdish parties and movements of complicity and establishing relations with regional countries, knowing that the PKK was and still is, and it has the best relations with Iraq, Iran, and Syria.
