Al-Bahra: The solution in Syria is not military
ARK News… The joint head of the opposition delegation in the Syrian Constitutional Committee, Hadi Al-Bahra, said that the solution in Syria is not military, stressing the need to achieve a permanent ceasefire throughout the country, during a press conference held, on Saturday, after the conclusion of the third round of the Constitutional Committee meetings in Geneva.
Al-Bahra stressed that "there is still no permanent ceasefire in Syria," pointing out that "the insistence on continuing the military operations is useless, and causes more destruction to Syria and all that remains of our country and our economy will destroy all of us."
Al-Bahra stressed that "as long as the violence and military clashes continue, we will not see the political process progressing quickly," and stated that they expect the next round of the Constitutional Committee to be held at the end of September or early October.
