Esper: US forces will withdraw from Kobani and its countryside within a week

ARK News: The withdrawal of the US military from the Kobani region in northeastern Syria near the Turkish border could take "another week or so," US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Wednesday.
When the partial withdrawal is complete, the US military will still have about 600 troops in Syria, down from about 1,000 before Trump ordered the withdrawal last month, Esber said.
Esber said: While the process of withdrawing from Kobani, the US military will re-station its forces in Syria and reduce them.
