The Mini-Committee ends its meetings and Pederson reveals the contents of the meetings
ARK News: UN special envoy to Syria, Geir Pedersen, said on Friday that both sides of the constitution drafting committee had agreed on many things "but there are still differences".
In a press conference, yesterday, Pederson revealed that the meetings discussed the fight against terrorism, state institutions and the rule of law and the development of the Constitution and that there are many things the two sides agreed (regime and the opposition) on them, but there are still differences, and said the meetings had not discussed the prisoners and detainees, and there are other paths do so, and called for a ceasefire north of Syria
Pederson added that the next meeting of the Mini-Committee will be held on the 25th of this month.
The meetings of the first session began on Monday, November 4 of the Mini-Committee of the Constitutional Committee, which consists of 45 members (the regime, the opposition, and civil society), and yesterday the meetings of the first session of the Committee ended, and that the second session of the meetings will begin on the 25th of this month.
