Mahmoud Mohammed: President Barzani’s Message Is a Roadmap to End the Political Deadlock

ARK News..The spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Mahmoud Mohammed, stated that the messages delivered by President Masoud Barzani represent a clear roadmap for ending the current political deadlock.

Speaking to the media, Mohammed said that “the message presented and the remarks delivered by President Barzani were very clear and straightforward.”

He noted that the message included a direct call on all political parties to “overcome all forms of division and estrangement and to make every effort to address the ongoing political stagnation and resolve the outstanding disputes among the various parties.”

The KDP spokesperson stressed the importance of reactivating political efforts immediately after the Eid holiday, explaining that the objective is “to begin the process of forming the parliament’s presidency and to take the necessary legal and constitutional steps that must be completed.”

Mohammed also revealed that a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party had conducted extensive visits to all political parties, emphasizing that “the party’s doors remain open to everyone without exception.”

He added: “We are seriously working to break the deadlock surrounding the selection of the Speaker of Parliament and to pave the way for the formation of the next Kurdistan Regional Government on the basis of understanding and joint cooperation.”

These remarks come at a time when the people of Kurdistan are looking forward to overcoming political challenges and moving forward with the formation of new governing institutions in response to calls emphasizing unity and the need to move beyond the crises of the previous period.
