A prominent leader in the PYD administration represented in the Constitutional Committee .. find out him

ARK News: Although he holds a senior position in the PYD management as co-chairman of the so-called Canton of al-Jazira in Syrian Kurdistan, but is scheduled to participate in the Constitutional Committee representative of civil society nominated by the Syrian regime.

Civil activist Farouk Haj Mustafa, President of “Berçav” Center for Freedoms and Media, during his participation in the Rudaw Bulletin yesterday 24 September 2019, said his name had been replaced by Hamaidi Daham, "the joint president of the al-Jazira region." Adding that Hamaidi is a representative of civil society in the Syrian Constitutional Committee, and was nominated by the Syrian regime and supported by Russia and Iran.

Hamaidi Daham is an Arab component and participates in the political management of the PYD. His son also holds a high position within the militias of Sanadid who work with the PYD.

The PYD, after being excluded from the Syrian Constitutional Committee, issued a statement saying: "We will not abide by the outputs of the Constitutional Committee."
