Forum clans of the PYD call for the regime to open the door for dialogue

ARK News: The so-called "Forum works of the Tribes of the Island region was concluded on Saturday which organized by the Democratic Union Party the (PYD) in Qamishlo city with a final statement calling on the Syrian regime to open a serious and responsible dialogue with the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD).

"We call on the authority in Damascus to open a serious and responsible dialogue with the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD)with a view to resolving our Syrian crisis and cutting off every attempt to prejudice our security and soil and a decent return to Syria on all its components," the final statement said.

An informed source revealed on Wednesday the contents of the discussions of a delegation of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian regime, who returned from Damascus to Qamishlo city after a round of talks with regime officials on the fate of the eastern Euphrates region.

The source added that a delegation headed by Ilham Ahmed, head of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD), returned to Qamishlo city after meeting with senior officials in Damascus and the Russian base of Hamaimim in the Syrian coast.

The source revealed that “Damascus demanded the delegation of Syrian Democratic Council to hand over the heavy weapons which they had received from the Assad army, including tanks, and the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces from the centers of both Qamishlo and Hasaka provinces and handing over to the regime, with reactivating the state institutions, in addition to allowing the Assad army to deploy in Hasaka province.
