المجلس الوطني الكوردي يفتتح مقره الرسمي في العاصمة السورية "دمشق"
شهدت مدينة دمشق أول اجتماع لمجلس محلية دمشق للمجلس الوطني الكوردي وافتتاح مقره الرسمي في العاصمة السورية "دمشق".
في خطوة تُعدّ الأولى من نوعها في العاصمة السورية، عقد يوم الأحد 22 حزيران 2025، مجلس محلية دمشق للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا، اجتماعه التأسيسي الأول، وذلك بحضور فصلة يوسف عضو هيئة رئاسة المجلس الوطني الكوردي وعدد من أعضاء المجلس، وممثلي الأحزاب المنضوية في صفوفه.
وخلال الاجتماع، ناقش المجتمعون سبل تعزيز دور المجلس في العاصمة، وآليات تنظيم العمل السياسي والمدني، بما يخدم تطلعات الشعب الكوردي ضمن إطار الحل السياسي في سوريا.
وفي ختام الاجتماع، تم انتخاب لقمان أوسو رئيساً لمجلس محلية دمشق للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا.
وعقب الاجتماع، تم افتتاح المقر الرسمي للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في العاصمة دمشق، حيث اعتُبرت هذه الخطوة تطوراً مهماً في مسار الحضور السياسي الكردي في قلب العاصمة، ورسالة واضحة حول انفتاح المجلس على مختلف الجغرافيا السورية.
ويأتي هذا الحدث في إطار الجهود المتواصلة التي يبذلها المجلس الوطني الكوردي لتفعيل مؤسساته وتنظيم حضوره الوطني، بما يعزز من مكانته كطرف سياسي فاعل في مستقبل سوريا.

أدان المجلس الوطني الكوردي الجريمة الإرهابية البشعة التي ارتكبها تنظيم داعش، واستهدفت كنيسة مار إلياس في حي الدويلعة بدمشق، ما أسفر عن سقوط عدد من الضحايا المدنيين الأبرياء ووقوع عدد من الجرحى
فيما يلي نص التصريح:
يدين المجلس الوطني الكردي في سوريا بأشد العبارات الجريمة الإرهابية البشعة التي ارتكبها تنظيم داعش، واستهدفت صباح اليوم الأحد ٢٢ حزيران ٢٠٢٥ كنيسة مار إلياس في حي الدويلعة بدمشق، مما أسفر عن سقوط عدد من الضحايا المدنيين الأبرياء ووقوع عدد من الجرحى،
خاصة بعد ان استبشر السوريون بسقوط الاستبداد ويتطلعون الى آفاق أوسع من الحرية والسلام والاستقرار.
إن استهداف دور العبادة وانتهاك حرمة الأماكن المقدسة وقتل المدنيين الآمنين، يُعدّ اعتداءً سافراً على القيم الإنسانية والدينية، ومحاولة خبيثة لزرع الفتنة وزعزعة السلم الأهلي بين أبناء الشعب السوري الواحد.
يتقدّم المجلس الوطني الكردي في سوريا بأحرّ التعازي إلى عائلات الضحايا وأهالي حي الدويلعة، ويتمنى الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
ويؤكد أن مكافحة الإرهاب والتطرّف تتطلب تضافراً حقيقياً وتضامناً صادقاً بين جميع مكوّنات الشعب السوري، ورفضاً قاطعاً لكل أشكال العنف والكراهية، والسعي الجاد نحو بناء دولة ديمقراطية تعددية، تقوم على أسس المواطنة المتساوية، والعدالة، واحترام حقوق الإنسان.
ويشدد المجلس على أن طريق الأمن والاستقرار في سوريا يمرّ عبر ضمان حقوق جميع السوريين في الحرية والكرامة، ومشاركتهم الكاملة في رسم مستقبل البلاد وبناء دولتها الجديدة على أسس الشراكة الوطنية.

Statement by the General Secretariat of the KNC in Syria On the Terrorist Bombing at Mar Elias Church in Damascus
ARK News.. The Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC) strongly condemns the horrific terrorist attack perpetrated by ISIS, which targeted Mar Elias Church in the al-Duwail’a neighborhood of Damascus on the morning of Sunday, June 22, 2025. The bombing claimed the lives of several innocent civilians and left many others injured.
This appalling act comes at a moment when Syrians had begun to hope for an end to tyranny and were looking forward to a future marked by greater freedom, peace, and national stability.
The targeting of houses of worship, the desecration of sacred sites, and the murder of innocent civilians are flagrant violations of human and religious values. These actions are nothing short of a malicious attempt to incite division and undermine civil peace among the diverse communities of the Syrian people.
The Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC) extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the residents of Al-Duwail’a. We also express our heartfelt wishes for a swift and full recovery to all those wounded.
The Council affirms that effectively confronting terrorism and extremism requires sincere solidarity and coordination among all segments of the Syrian population. It calls for the complete rejection of all forms of violence and hatred and reaffirms its commitment to building a democratic, inclusive state founded on equal citizenship, justice, and respect for human rights.
The Council stresses that lasting security and stability in Syria can only be achieved by guaranteeing the rights of all Syrians to freedom and dignity, and by ensuring their full participation in shaping the future of the country through a new state built on true national partnership.

Pope Leo XIV Calls for Diplomacy to Silence the Weapons
ARK News.. Pope Leo XIV (Robert Francis Prevost) called for urgent diplomatic efforts to end the violence following the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, declaring that “humanity is crying out for peace” in response to the "alarming news coming from the Middle East."
Speaking at the conclusion of the Sunday Angelus prayer at the Vatican, the Pope stated:
“Every member of the international community bears a moral responsibility to help end the tragedy of war before it becomes an irreversible abyss.”
Addressing thousands of worshipers in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV emphasized:
“Today, more than ever, humanity is crying out for peace. It is a cry that demands responsibility and reason, and it must not be drowned out by the noise of weapons and voices inciting conflict.”
He added:
“No victory gained through weapons can compensate for a mother’s grief, a child’s fear, or a stolen future. Let diplomacy silence the guns. Let nations build their future on acts of peace, not violence and bloody conflict.”
The Pope also warned that wars leave deep wounds in the history of nations, and voiced concern over the urgent need to deliver humanitarian aid to the devastated Gaza Strip, which remains under threat amid a conflict between Israel and Hamas now stretching into its twenty-first month.
His remarks came hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States had carried out airstrikes that "completely destroyed" three major nuclear facilities in Iran—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Syrian Interior Ministry Plans to Reinstate Around 600 Former Officers
ARK News.. The Syrian Interior Ministry has announced the formation of a special committee tasked with reintegrating officers who defected from the former regime between the start of the revolution and the year 2020, as part of a broader effort to reactivate their roles in line with their professional specializations.
Ministry spokesperson Noraddin al-Baba stated that between 500 and 600 officers are expected to be covered by this measure, and that the ministry will begin contacting them soon to reintegrate them into state institutions according to their areas of expertise.
He added that the ministry had received numerous inquiries regarding the status of defected officers, stressing that the new plan aims to benefit from their experience and qualifications.
This initiative follows an earlier move by the Syrian Ministry of Defense, which began accepting applications from former enlisted personnel and non-commissioned officers who defected from the deposed regime and now wish to return to duty. The ministry has set up a dedicated online portal for registration and urged all interested individuals to apply through the designated platform.

U.S. Forces Reinforce Bases in Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News.. Local sources confirmed the landing of a U.S. cargo plane at the international coalition base in Kharab al-Jir, south of Rmelan in Syrian Kurdistan.
According to the sources, the aircraft—which landed on Sunday, June 22, 2025—was loaded with advanced radar systems and air defense equipment.
The landing reportedly coincided with the overflight of two American helicopters in the area’s airspace.
In recent weeks, U.S. forces have re-positioned their units and strengthened fortifications at their military bases in the countryside of Hasaka Province, amid concerns over potential attacks using Iranian drones or missiles, in light of the ongoing escalation between Iran and Israel.
The measures have included the relocation of armored vehicles and logistics units to more fortified locations, an increase in air defense readiness, and intensified aerial reconnaissance missions over the region.

بابا الفاتيكان يدعو إلى الدبلوماسية لإسكات السلاح
أعلن البابا ليو الرابع عشر (روبرت فرنسيس بريفوست) اليوم الأحد 22 حزيران 2025، بعد الضربات الأميركية على مواقع نووية في إيران أن "البشرية تصرخ وتطالب بالسلام" إزاء "الأخبار المقلقة القادمة من الشرق الأوسط"، داعيا الدبلوماسية إلى "إسكات السلاح".
قال البابا ليو الرابع عشر (روبرت فرنسيس بريفوست) في ختام صلاة التبشير الأسبوعية في الفاتيكان إن "كل عضو في الأسرة الدولية يتحمل المسؤولية الأخلاقية بوضع حد لمأساة الحرب قبل أن تتحول إلى هاوية لا يمكن ردمها".
وتابع البابا مخاطبا آلاف المصلين في ساحة القديس بطرس "اليوم أكثر من أي وقت مضى، البشرية تصرخ وتطالب بالسلام. إنها صرخة تتطلب مسؤولية وعقلانية، ولا ينبغي أن يطغى عليها ضجيج الاسلحة والخطابات التي تحض على النزاع".
وأضاف البابا ليو الرابع عشر (روبرت فرنسيس بريفوست): "لا يمكن لأي انتصار بالاسلحة أن يعوض عن معاناة الأمهات وخوف الأطفال والمستقبل المسلوب. دعوا الدبلوماسية تسكت الأسلحة. ولتبنِ الأمم مستقبلها على أعمال السلام ولا على العنف والنزاعات الدامية".
وشدد على أن "الحروب تترك جراحا عميقة في تاريخ الشعوب"، محذرا من جهة أخرى من خطر التغاضي عن الضرورة العاجلة لتأمين مساعدات إنسانية لقطاع غزة المدمر والمهدد في ظل الحرب بين إسرائيل وحركة حماس المستمرة منذ أكثر من عشرين شهرا.
وأعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب اليوم الأحد 22 حزيران 2025، أن الولايات المتحدة شنّت ضربات جوية "دمّرت بشكل تام وكامل" ثلاث منشآت نووية رئيسية في إيران وهي "فوردو ونطنز وأصفهان".

قوات إسرائيلية تتوغل في قرية بريف القنيطرة الجنوبي
أفاد مصدر حقوقي سوري أن قوة إسرائيلية توغلت بريف القنيطرة الجنوبي، ورافقت العملية حالة من التوتر والخوف والاحتقان بين الأهالي.
قال المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان إن قوة إسرائيلية مؤلفة من 5 سيارات عسكرية، توغلت في قرية العشة بريف القنيطرة الجنوبي، وأجرت عمليات تفتيش لعدد من المنازل، دون ورود معلومات عن أي اعتقالات.
وأضاف المصدر، رافقت العملية حالة من التوتر والخوف والاحتقان بين الأهالي.
وفي 20 حزيران الجاري توغلت دورية إسرائيلية مؤلفة من 3 دبابات و 6 سيارات في قرية الحرية بريف القنيطرة الشمالي ونصبت حواجز وأغلقت الطرقات في القرية، دون احتكاك مع المواطنين.

الداخلية السورية تنوي إعادة نحو 600 ضابطا إلى الخدمة
أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية، أن لجنة خاصة شُكّلت لإعادة دمج الضباط المنشقين عن النظام السابق، ممن انشقوا منذ انطلاق الثورة وحتى عام 2020، وذلك في إطار إعادة تفعيلهم ضمن تخصصاتهم.
قال المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية، نور الدين البابا، إن عدد الضباط المشمولين بهذا الإجراء يُقدَّر بين 500 إلى 600 ضابط، وأن الوزارة ستبدأ بالتواصل معهم قريباً لإعادة إدماجهم في مؤسسات الدولة، وفقاً لاختصاصاتهم المهنية.
كما ولفت إلى أن الوزارة تلقت العديد من الاستفسارات حول مصير الضباط المنشقين، مؤكداً أن الخطة الموضوعة تهدف إلى الاستفادة من خبراتهم.
سبق أن بدأت وزارة الدفاع السورية استقبال طلبات الأفراد وصف الضباط المنشقين عن النظام المخلوع، الراغبين في العودة إلى العمل ضمن صفوف الوزارة، تمهيداً لاتخاذ الإجراءات التنظيمية اللازمة.
وخصّصت الوزارة رابطاً إلكترونياً لهذه الغاية، ودعت جميع الراغبين إلى التسجيل عبره.

Plummeting Euphrates Water Levels Threaten the Lives of Millions in Syria
ARK News.. Local sources from the city of Deir Ez-Zour have reported a sharp drop in the water level of the Euphrates River, warning of an impending water crisis that threatens the lives of millions of Syrians and their agricultural livelihoods. The river has reportedly reached what is known as the “dead level.”
According to the local newspaper Al-Furat, the water level continues to decline by an average of 20 millimeters per day, a dangerously critical rate. Statistics indicate that the total drop in the water level at the Euphrates Dam has reached approximately 6 meters so far, amid a significant decrease in the volume of water coming from the Turkish side—currently not exceeding 250 cubic meters per second, a figure far below actual demand.
The paper also noted that this severe drop in Euphrates water levels stems from an ongoing crisis that began in 2020, which has led to the drying up of vast agricultural areas, a decline in electricity production from dams, and the loss of large quantities of strategic water reserves in the reservoirs formed behind the dams.
