President Barzani Congratulates Muslims of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the World on Eid al-Fitr

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my warmest congratulations to all Muslims around the world, in Iraq, and in Kurdistan. I congratulate the families of martyrs, the heroic Peshmerga forces, and all the citizens of Kurdistan.
On this blessed occasion, I pray that God accepts the fasting, obedience, and worship of all Muslims, and I hope that this Eid brings peace to the entire world and happiness to our beloved people of Kurdistan.

The PYD Administration Detains Four Members of the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syra as Hostages
ARK News… The PYD administration continues its policy of silencing dissent and suppressing facts in the cities and towns of Syrian Kurdistan, tightening the noose around Kurdish journalists. Armed PYD elements abducted several journalists and members of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria as hostages until the release of (Suleiman Ahmed), a PKK journalist who was detained in the Kurdistan Region about a year ago.
Regarding the abduction of members of the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Sria from the towns of Girke Lage and Derik in Syrian Kurdistan as hostages since March 31, 2024, political analyst Manal Hasko stated that the foundation of the PKK system is mafia-like: "An organized crime gang operating outside the law with arms in Syrian Kurdistan cannot change to become a political organization concerned with Kurdish national rights, because the criminal mentality and ideology upon which it was founded and exists cannot be changed."
The Kurdish political analyst added that the so-called "Suleiman Ahmed," who worked as an editor for the Roj News agency affiliated with the PKK crime syndicate based in Sulaymaniya, was arrested on charges of espionage by the Kurdistan Regional Government authorities.
Manal Hasko emphasized: "The abduction of (Rakan al-Ahmed, Marwan Hussein, Ahmed Sofi, and Hossam Dursun) as hostages until the release of the spy Suleiman Ahmed is the clearest evidence of the criminal mentality on which the PKK system was founded, and its main goals are to oppose the Kurdish cause, its symbols, activists, and the rights of the Kurdish people. All the resonant national slogans claimed by the mafia-like PKK system are aimed at deceiving the Kurdish public and Kurdish public opinion to conceal its terrorist, anti-Kurdish nature and cause."
Kurdish politician Jan Kurd stated to "ARK News" regarding the abduction of journalists and members of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria that the abduction of four people by PKK affiliates in Syrian Kurdistan as hostages will not serve the Kurdish cause. They will regret this act that aligns them with enemies of the Kurdish cause and its people in all four parts. The PKK's arms cannot conceal the truth and their practices against the Kurdish people from the Kurdish public opinion.
This is not the first time that the PYD administration has abducted journalists, activists, and members of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria as hostages. On 17/7/2021, were abducted:
-Journalist Barzan Hussein, correspondent for ARK Media Foundation.
-Journalist Mohammed Saleh Ahmed, former correspondent for Kurdistan TV and founding member of the Kurdistan Journalists Union -Syria and currently a member of the PDK-S Central Committee.
Mohammed Ayo, a member of the advisory board of the Kurdistan Democratic Party -Syria.
Their abduction as hostages was a response to the arrest of a group of PYD administration affiliates in the Kurdistan Region. Because these PYD affiliates were detained for 112 days in the Kurdistan Region, the PYD administration abducted journalists and members of the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party Syria for 112 days at that time.
Armed PYD elements abducted four members of the Kurdish National Council and the Syrian Democratic Party from the towns of Girke Lage and Derik in Syrian Kurdistan since March 31, 2024, and their fate remains unknown:
Rakan al-Ahmed, journalist and member of the Branch Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, abducted on March 31, 2024, in Girke Lage.
Marwan Hussein Liyani, youth activist and member of the Local Council of Girke Lage of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, abducted on April 1, 2024, in Girke Lage.
Ahmed Hassan Sofi, journalist and member of the Area Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, abducted on April 2, 2024, in Derik.
Hassam Dorsin, member of the Area Committee of the Syrian Kurdish People Party and a member of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, abducted on April 1, 2024, in Derik.
The Kurdish National Council condemned these intimidating practices by the PYD administration and demanded the immediate release of the hostages, reaffirming their ongoing struggle for the Kurdish cause.
It also called on the international community and human rights organizations to expose and put an end to these practices.

أمريكا تدعو لتطبيق القرار الدولي لعودة السوريين إلى بلادهم
دعت الولايات المتحدة الأميركية لـ "تهيئة الظروف" لعودة اللاجئين والنازحين السوريين إلى بلادهم، بالشكل المنصوص عليه في قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2254.
وقالت "السفارة الأميركية في سوريا" في تغريدة على منصة "إكس" إن الولايات المتحدة "تؤكد دعوة قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2254 لتهيئة الظروف لعودة طوعية وآمنة وكريمة للاجئين والنازحين داخلياً في سوريا".
وأضاف: "يجب على نظام الأسد تهيئة الظروف اللازمة للعودة، وتجب معاملة جميع اللاجئين والنازحين معاملة إنسانية واحترام حقوقهم".
وتقدر المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين التابعة للأمم المتحدة عدد السوريين النازحين داخلياً واللاجئين إلى مختلف دول العالم بنحو 13.4 مليون سوري.
ويبلغ عدد اللاجئين السوريين في مختلف أنحاء العالم نحو 7 ملايين، قرابة نصفهم في تركيا، فيما يعيش نحو مليون لاجئ في ألمانيا ومثلهم في لبنان.

جاموس : السوريين واللبنانيين دفعا ثمن ممارسات النظام السوري وحلفائه
دان دان رئيس هيئة التفاوض السورية، بدر جاموس، جريمة اغتيال القيادي في حزب "القوات اللبنانية"، باسكال سليمان، داعياً الأطراف اللبنانية لوقف الاعتداءات على اللاجئين السوريين.
وقال جاموس إن الشعبين السوري واللبناني "دفعا ثمن ممارسات وإجرام النظام السوري وحلفائه بحقهما معاً"، مضيفاً أن اغتيال سليمان "جريمة جديدة تضاف إلى هذا السجل الإجرامي الطويل".
وأكد أن "المجرم صاحب المصلحة بالاغتيال معروف، وهو الذي عمل منذ سنوات وما يزال يعمل على زرع الفتنة والعداء بين السوريين واللبنانيين، ويسعى لزعزعة استقرار لبنان وأمنه وسلمه الوطني".
وأعرب جاموس عن "استنكاره وإدانته لأعمال العنف التي قام بها البعض ضد اللاجئين السوريين في بعض المناطق في لبنان"، مطالباً المنظمات الدولية، وفي مقدمتها مفوضية اللاجئين، بحماية اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان، وتحمل مسؤولياتها والتزاماتها.، جريمة اغتيال القيادي في حزب "القوات اللبنانية"، باسكال سليمان، داعياً الأطراف اللبنانية لوقف الاعتداءات على اللاجئين السوريين.

الأردن يحبط محاولة تهريب مخدرات من سوريا
أحبطت قوات الجيش الأردني محاولة تهريب مخدرات من سوريا، وأعلنت عن مقتل مهربين وإصابة آخرين.
وأصدرت القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية بياناً قالت فيه، إن المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية، أحبطت بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات، محاولة تسلل وتهريب كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة، قادمة من الأراضي السورية.
وأوضح البيان أن العملية أسفرت عن مقتل اثنين من المهربين، وإصابة آخرين، وضبط كميات كبيرة من المخدرات، تم تحويلها إلى الجهات المختصة.
وأشار إلى أن الجيش الأردني “ماضٍ في استخدام كافة القدرات والإمكانيات المتوفرة، للضرب بيد من حديد لكل مَن تسول له نفسه العبث بالأمن الوطني الأردني”.
وكانت الحدود الأردنية، شهدت نشاطاً في عمليات تهريب المخدرات من سوريا منذ أواخر العام الماضي، قبل أن تتراجع نسبياً خلال الآونة الأخيرة.

مركز للدراسات: قوانين النظام الاقتصادية تعيد سوريا إلى زمن الخمسينيات
قال مركز “جسور للدراسات”: إن النظام السوري يصدر قوانين جديدة تعيد سوريا إلى زمن الخمسينيات من القرن الماضي.
وأكد المركز أن هذه القوانين اعتراف ضمني بفشل سياسات حزب البعث الاقتصادية ونهجه الاشتراكي.
وأشار إلى أن هذه القوانين تحتوي على مخاطر جرّاء دمج 40 وحدة اقتصادية مهمة وحيوية في شركة جديدة واحدة.
وبحسب المركز فإن النظام يسعى إلى نهج اقتصادي جديد يساعد على انتشالها من حالة الانهيار الاقتصادي المستمر منذ عام 2011.
وقال المركز إن الحكومة تعمل على تعديل البِنْية القانونية الاقتصادية من خلال إصدار قوانين جديدة. تحمل عناوين تحسين الوضع الاقتصادي والالتفاف على العقوبات الدولية، كدمج الشركات وضخ شركات جديدة. تحقق جدوى اقتصادية بعيداً عن السياسات الاجتماعية.
وأوضح أن النظام يصور القوانين الجديدة على أنها تصبّ في مهمة انتشال الاقتصاد السوري. حيث تخلى عن مبادئه الاقتصادية السابقة، وانتقل من النهج الاشتراكي إلى اقتصاد الحرب.

الأمم المتحدة: غوتيريش يريد إنهاء النزاع في أوكرانيا مع الالتزام بوحدة أراضيها
أعلنت الأمم المتحدة أن الأمين العام أنطونيو غوتيريش يريد إنهاء النزاع في أوكرانيا مع الالتزام بوحدة أراضيها.
وقال ستيفان دوجاريك، المتحدث باسم الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة خلال مؤتمر صحفي، يوم الثلاثاء، إنه "يريد رؤية إنهاء النزاع على أساس قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الشأن ومع الالتزام بوحدة أراضي أوكرانيا".
وجاء ذلك تعليقا على التقارير الإعلامية الأمريكية التي أشارت إلى أن دونالد ترامب في حال انتخابه رئيسا للولايات المتحدة سيصر على تقديم أوكرانيا تنازلات لروسيا من أجل تحقيق السلام.
وحسبما قالت مصادر لصحيفة "واشنطن بوست"، فإن تلك التنازلات ستشمل تخلي أوكرانيا عن مطالبها بعودة شبه جزيرة القرم ومنطقة دونباس لها.

مسرور بارزاني مهنئاً بعيد الفطر المبارك: نأمل أن تشكّل الخطوات الأخيرة مع بغداد بداية لحلّ جميع المشاكل العالقة
أصدر رئيس حكومة إقليم كوردستان مسرور بارزاني تهنئة بمناسبة عيد الفطر المبارك، عبّر فيها عن شكره لمواطني الإقليم على صبرهم وصمودهم في تخطي الظرف الاقتصادي الصعب، ودعا إلى معالجة جميع المشاكل العالقة مع الحكومة الاتحادية من خلال التفاهم والاحتكام إلى الدستور.
وفيما يلي نص التهنئة:
مع إطلالة عيد الفطر السعيد، نتقدم بأزكى آيات التهاني والتبريكات إلى عموم المسلمين في كوردستان والعراق والعالم، ونخص بالذكر البيشمركة البواسل، وقوى الأمن الداخلي، وذوي وعوائل الشهداء والمؤنفلين الأكارم، متمنين أن يهلّ هذا العيد على شعب كوردستان مفعماً بكل معاني البهجة والسعادة والرفاهية، حاملاً معه بشارة نهاية كل الحروب والمآسي في كل مكان.
وفي هذه المناسبة المباركة، يطيب لنا أن نعبّر عن عظيم شكرنا وامتناننا إلى جميع الوطنيين من أبناء كوردستان، على وقوفوهم معنا صامدين صابرين، بعد أن غمرونا بدعمهم ومساندتهم في تخطي الوضع الاقتصادي العصيب الذي مررنا به.
كما نأمل أن يدوم الاتفاق والتفاهم الذي جرى التوصل إليه مع الجهات ذات العلاقة في الحكومة الاتحادية بشأن الرواتب والحقوق المالية لإقليم كوردستان، وأن ينهي بموجبه أي خلط بين مسألة الرواتب، كونها حقاً شرعياً ودستورياً للمواطنين، وبين أي مشاكل أو خلافات سياسية، لضمان حصول الموظفين والمتقاضين على رواتبهم بشكل منتظم شهرياً من خلال الجهات المعنية في حكومة الإقليم.
وبينما نؤكد على أهمية هذه الخطوات والتقدم المحرز، نرجو أن يكون ذلك بداية لحل المشاكل العالقة الأخرى وكافة القضايا الخلافية المتبقية من خلال التفاهم والاحتكام إلى الدستور.
