Afrin ... Local Councils continue in providing services to civilians
ARK News: The Local Council in the Kurdish Afrin city continues in working on the maintenance of war-affected areas in the city and providing aid and assistance to needy families in the neighborhoods of the city and its villages.
“The competent authorities in the Local Council in Afrin are working this week on the maintenance of water lines, based on the planned plan, which aims to pump water to Afrin city daily to ensure water access to all neighborhoods of the city”, Local sources said.
The Local Council in the city center of Afrin published on its page on social networking sites on 17/10/2018 that the maintenance work at the water station in the Meydanky dam is in its final stages to regularly pump water to the people of Afrin and the surrounding villages.
On the other hand, the Relief Office of the Local Council in Afrin city center in cooperation with the organization of Afad distributed chair wheels for people with special needs (10 chairs) in the city center, and they distributed aids to families in Afrin city.
“The relief office in cooperation with the organization Afad distributed food baskets to the families in the center of the city during the past three days 16-17-18 / 10/2018”, a source in Afrin city said to ARK News.
The source added that the Relief Office distributed the rice on the villages of Kafardaly Foqani and Kafardaly Tahtani on 13/10/2018.
