Trump: Xi Jinping Agrees with Me on the Need to Reopen the Strait of Hormuz

ARK News.. US President Donald Trump announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping agrees with him on the necessity of reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking after returning from China, Trump said he is considering lifting US sanctions imposed on Chinese oil companies that purchase Iranian crude oil. China remains the largest buyer of Iranian oil.
Responding to a journalist’s question on whether Xi had made a firm commitment to pressure the Iranians into reopening the strategic waterway, Trump said: “I’m not asking for favors, because when you ask for favors, you have to give favors in return.”
