Hasakah: International Coalition Conducts Military Drills at Qasrek Base
ARK News.. The International Coalition has carried out joint military exercises with French forces at one of its bases in the countryside of al-Hasakah, coinciding with the departure of a coalition convoy from the town of al-Shaddadi.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, coalition forces, with the participation of warplanes and French soldiers, conducted large-scale military drills on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Qasrek base, located northwest of al-Hasakah province. The exercises included aerial bombardment simulations and the use of heavy weapons.
These drills are considered the first of their kind in the area since the end of the recent clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the transitional Syrian government.
