Fifth Convoy Carrying 380 Families of Displaced Sari Kaniye Residents Leaves Hasaka
ARK News.. The fifth convoy carrying displaced residents of Serekaniye departed the Sari Kaniye camp in the Hasaka countryside on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, heading toward their areas and villages in the Serekaniye countryside.
The convoy comprises 380 families. Syrian People’s Assembly member Mustafa Abdi said that around 50 families from Hasaka who had been living in Sari Kaniye were also returning to their areas on Tuesday.
He noted that the necessary logistical arrangements had been completed to facilitate the families’ return.
More than 2,100 displaced families from Serekaniye had previously returned to their original areas in four convoys, alongside the return of around 50 families from Hasaka who had been living in Sari Kaniye.
