Nawaf Rashid: Disputes Resolved in Draft Kurdish Political Vision Between KNC and PYD
ARK News.. A senior Kurdish politician from Syrian Kurdistan has revealed that disagreements over the draft of the joint Kurdish political vision between the Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC) and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) have been resolved.
In an exclusive statement to ARK News, Nawaf Rashid, a member of the Political Committee of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party – Syria, stated: "The disagreements in the draft of the joint Kurdish political vision have been overcome. The draft has been approved by the political components of KNC, as well as by civil society organizations and independent activists across various regions after it was presented to them by the KNC leadership."
Rashid added that KNC is now waiting for the PYD to secure the approval of its allies and officially announce the agreement. Once confirmed, the final step will be forming a joint delegation to engage in dialogue with the new administration in Damascus.
