Hakan Fidan: Turkey is not involved in the conflicts in Aleppo
ARK News. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has reiterated that Turkey is not involved in the ongoing conflicts in Aleppo. He stated that Ankara is taking precautions and will avoid any action that could trigger a new wave of migration.
Speaking at the TRT World Forum, Fidan stressed that Turkey has taken the necessary measures and will not take any action that could lead to another migration crisis at its borders.
Early Wednesday, opposition factions in Syria, operating under the "Military Operations Management" room, launched a large-scale military offensive named "Deterring the Aggression".
The operation targeted western rural Aleppo and eastern rural Idlib. By last night, the factions had reportedly taken control of most of Aleppo city.
