The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government expresses solidarity with the families of the victims of the floods
ARK News… The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, on Sunday, July 16, 2021, expressed solidarity with the families of the victims of the torrential floods that struck European countries, which resulted in hundreds of victims, the loss of thousands, and massive material damage to homes and public property.
Masrour Barzani tweeted, on his Twitter account, in solidarity with the families of the victims of the floods that struck Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands: "The Kurdistan Regional Government extends its deepest condolences to all those affected."
The BBC reported that the number of victims was close to 100, while the number of missing reached 1,000. Other sources confirm that the number of dead people has reached 133.
