Several speeches were delivered during the opening, including a speech by Naimat Dawood, the President of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and a speech by Mohammed Ismail, the Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria.

Below is the text of Naimat Dawood's speech, President of the Kurdish National Council in Syria:

Peace be upon you,
I thank you all for your presence and wish you all the best. On behalf of the Kurdish National Council, we welcome your attendance and participation and congratulate our brothers in the local Kurdish National Council on their celebration. You are aware that more than half of our people in Syria are currently displaced abroad, scattered across the earth, enduring the suffering of their people at home and the hardship of exile. We in the Kurdish National Council and in the opposition, along with all nationalists, share the concerns of our people abroad and bear a significant part of the responsibility in defending their cause, which we share in rejecting tyranny and working towards building democratic Syria for all Syrians, including Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Assyrians, Turkmen, and others, with all their national, democratic, and human rights.

You, brothers, know that the region has been in a state of turmoil for several months, on the verge of a new phase. The international community bears a significant portion of the blame for not implementing legitimate international resolutions. These issues remain unresolved, burdening us all with the consequences of not resolving our issues. The key to solving the issues of the Middle East as a whole lie in resolving the Syrian issue. Without a solution to this issue and finding a political solution to it, there can be no solutions for the region, and security, peace, and stability cannot prevail in it. We believe that the political solution based on legitimate international resolutions, notably Resolution 2254, must now be actively pursued to achieve a democratic and just solution to the Syrian issue.

We, in the Kurdish National Council and in the Syrian national opposition, must be open to a new democratic Syria for all Syrians, where everyone enjoys their national, human, and democratic rights. We are confident that this dark phase will end, and a new dawn is inevitable, bringing peace, tranquility, and stability to our homeland. We are called upon to stand beside our people abroad and at home, sharing their concerns, pains, and aspirations. I wish you all the best, and I wish our Kurdish National Council success in its work alongside all of you. Thank you, and I greet you once again on behalf of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.

During the opening ceremony, the speech by Mohammed Ismail, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, and a member of the presidential body of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, was also delivered.

Below is the text of Mohammed Ismail's speech, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria:

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am pleased to communicate with you today on this historic occasion, marking the opening of the local office of the Kurdish National Council in Syria in Urfa, Turkey, where there is a considerable presence of the Syrian and Kurdish diaspora.

Here, I would like to welcome all of you representing all Syrian components, from parties, civil organizations, and distinguished nationalists from all parts of Syria whom we value greatly, as well as the honorable residents of the region, and all members and supporters of the council.

Your presence with us today is a great honor, indicating your concern for the issues of our country and our people and your eagerness to participate in building a better future for Syria.

The opening of this office is an important step towards strengthening institutional work and providing the best services to our Syrian people in Urfa and its surrounding areas, realizing their legitimate aspirations for decent living.

We, in the Kurdish National Council and also in our party, the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, fully understand the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon us. We assure you that we will strive to fulfill our promises and will always stand by your side and meet your expectations.

We also emphasize that we are an integral part of the Syrian national opposition and share its goals in building a democratic, pluralistic Syria that respects the rights of all citizens.

We are also concerned about the suffering of the Syrian people in general and our Kurdish people in particular, continuing to work hand in hand with our brothers in the Syrian opposition, in addition to our work and activities in all our local councils inside Syria, working to alleviate suffering and achieve the hopes and aspirations of our people for freedom, dignity, and justice.

We struggle to achieve the legitimate aspirations and rights of our national people in a federal democratic Syria for all Syrians.

We are fully confident that our people will achieve their goals, and a bright future awaits them.

Thank you.

Your brother,
Mohammed Ismail
Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria
And member of the presidential body of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.
