The Presidents of the Kurdistan Region and the government in the United Arab Emirates to participate in a global summit
ARK News… The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani headed to the United Arab Emirates, Thursday, November 30, 2023, to participate in the World Climate Summit (COP28), which will be held on the first and second of next month in Dubai.
This participation comes in response to the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, within the framework of strengthening international cooperation to combat climate change and address its challenges, as well as highlighting the role of the international community in achieving sustainable development goals.
The summit will discuss the challenges facing the world as a result of climate change, as the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government will participate in extensive discussions regarding the negative impacts resulting from this change on countries of the entire world.
