ARK News: "In the framework of the second phase of the era resistance in Afrin region, our forces carried out a military operation targeted mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the village of Golia Jor belonging to Rajo town ."

Under these words above, with pride, YPG militants published a statement to public opinion confirming the adoption of an operation to target unarmed civilians in the village of Golia, belonging to Rajo town of Afrin Kurdistan.

The Kurdish civilian. Ali Bashir Ali was martyred, on 29/10/2018, by a mine explosion in the village of Golia Jor belonging to Rajo town, and his brother Muhammad was taken to a Turkish hospital for treatment while his nephew, Osman suffered minor injuries.

On the same day that Ali Bashir Ali was martyred, the media center for the militants of the Popular Protection Units issued a statement to the public opinion that stated:

“Our forces carried out a military operation on 29 October, against a military vehicle carrying a number of mercenaries of Ahrar al-Sharqiya after they seized the olive harvest which owned by Kurds’ people in the village of Golia, Rajo town, where the confirmation of the death of three mercenaries."

It is interesting to note that PYD media sites published a picture attached to the statement by the farmer Ali Bashir Ali with his tractor , who died while he was trying to turn on his tractor with his brother and nephew in a bypass to adopt by PYD a mine explosion targeting the three civilians and turning this incidence into a military operation, describing those innocent civilians as mercenaries.

Noting that the village did not witness on Monday, 29/10/2018, an operation other than the explosion of a mine that led to the martyrdom of the civilian who was intended to go to his filed to harvest the olive crop.

The operation which adapted by PYD was strongly condemned by the citizens of Afrin and considered it a mockery of the lives of civilians and they stressed that they continue to resist in Afrin to stay and cling to their parents’ and grandparents’ land.

Hundreds of civilians in Afrin region were martyred by the explosion of mines planted by PYD and its militants prior to the withdrawal from all villages. It is worth mentioning that the mines were not planted at military headquarters, but were planted in civilian houses and their agricultural lands.
