The "Harana" agency concerned with human rights in Iran announced that the death toll in the ongoing protests reached 516 people, including 70 children under the age of eighteen. The agency said that the Iranian authorities arrested more than 19,000 demonstrators, in addition to 687 students, while the Iranian judiciary confirmed the death sentence against two on charges of killing a security officer on the sidelines of the protests.

The agency added that the revolutionary courts in Iran have issued verdicts against 670 detainees since the start of the protests in the country.
