25 Million Captagon Pills Seized at a Syrian Port
ARK News.. The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of a massive shipment of Captagon pills during an attempt to smuggle them through one of Syria’s ports.
According to Syria TV, the seized shipment contained 25 million Captagon pills hidden inside clay pottery containers. Authorities also arrested all members of the smuggling cell, consisting of seven individuals, in addition to the network’s leader.
A few days earlier, the Anti-Narcotics Directorate announced the foiling of an attempt to smuggle 142,000 Captagon pills into Jordan using aerial balloons equipped with tracking and remote-control systems.
