The Department of Culture and Information in the Roj Peshmerga forces said on the official page of the Roj Peshmerga Forces: December 14, 2022, marked the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the officer Abdul Rahman Amin Sheikhmous, nicknamed Jahid.
It added: He received the honor of martyrdom in the village of “Ser Gelî”, affiliated to the Amidi district in the Kurdistan Region, with a treacherous attack by terrorist groups on a checkpoint of the Peshmerga forces.
The statement continued: The martyr was one of the ranks of the first regiment and was an officer with the rank of first lieutenant.
