A delegation from the NRM visits the Office of Representatives of the National Assembly in Istanbul

ARK News: A delegation from the National Renewal Movement NRM, headed by Obaida Nahhas and members of Mohammad Sarmini, Omar Jandali and Alan Mohammed visited on Tuesday (23.10.018), the headquarters of the Kurdish National Council in Istanbul, Where they met with a delegation of representatives of the Kurdish National Council in the National Coalition for the forces of the revolution and the Syrian opposition, led by Abdul Basset Hamo, vice-president of the opposition Syrian National Coalition and with the presence of Fuad Aliko and Abdullah Kaddo.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed "the political process and the ongoing negotiations to achieve the democratic transition and the objectives of the Syrian revolution under UN Security Council Resolution 2254, and the importance of uniting the attitudes of the Syrian opposition."

The two sides’ talks also dealt with "the shape of the Syrian state and the guarantees that must be achieved in the political system."

The two sides discussed the "grievances against the components of the Syrian people from Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, Assyrians, and others, and they stressed that any political solution coming in Syria should end all cases of individual and collective injustice against Syrian citizens without exception.

The two sides supported the efforts of holding the constitutional committee and the importance of building what had done on the Geneva and Astana negotiations, and the necessity of frank discussion among the Syrian forces on all issues raised as issues such as decentralized democracy or federalism, civil or secular state, and the commitment of all forces to Syrian national consensus in the end.
