Urfa... The local Kurdish National Council holds a series of political meetings

ARK News… The Local of the Kurdish National Council in Urfa city held a series of political meetings with blocs and community organizations.

Urfa Locality said that a delegation headed by the head of the Locality, Muslim Muhammad, and the membership of the two vice-presidents, Abdul Hanan Abbas and Ibrahim Pasha, and the head of the Culture Office, Dr. Suhail Ahmed met with the National Democratic Bloc headed by lawyer Mumtaz al-Hasani, the Raqqa Governorate Council headed by Fayez Al-Katea, and the Raqqa Women’s Gathering headed by Falak al-Hassan.

According to the Local, the meetings came with the aim of "strengthening the bonds of Arab-Kurdish brotherhood and inclusive Syrian national affiliation, and the necessity of making efforts to advance them on the foundations of true partnership between all national political and social forces."

In addition to "building bridges of trust between all the Syrian people, with their various national, religious and other components."

During the meetings, the attendees stressed that “the Syrian crisis is a structural crisis based on a monolithic regime and the denial of the other, and that the regime is experiencing its worst economic, political and military conditions after Syria turned into a regional and international battlefield for settling scores through proxies.”

They also stressed "the necessity of continuing communication in the context of the historical responsibility placed on our shoulders, in accordance with what the stage requires."
