ARK News… Counterfeit and adulterated medicines and medical preparations have spread in Damascus pharmacies, which has prompted doctors in areas controlled by the Syrian regime to warn citizens against them because they cause allergic and sometimes fatal shocks.

Syrian media sources close to the Syrian regime said that doctors in areas controlled by the Syrian regime are complaining about the presence of counterfeit and adulterated types of medicine in pharmacies, so the patient is deceived in them and made to believe that it is the original medicine imported on a regular basis, but at a lower price because it is entered by smuggling, but in reality, it is not the medicine itself.

Media sources explained that doctors confirmed that the use of these counterfeit medicines causes major problems, causing allergic and sometimes fatal shocks and leading to the loss of the patient’s life.

Media sources indicated that this phenomenon appeared to be widespread in pharmacies in many governorates, the most recent of which was in the governorates of Aleppo and Hama, where counterfeit medicine is found on the shelves of pharmacies in full view of everyone, and drug control is oblivious as if in a deep sleep, and customs patrols are similar to drug control.
