Tel Ref'’at... Syrian Democratic Forces kidnapped a displaced Kurdish minor

ARK News… In continuation of the policy of intimidating children, robbing them of their childhood, and throwing them into forced conscription camps in the areas they control, the Syrian Democratic Forces kidnapped a minor from the town of Tal Rifaat and took her to conscription camps.

A private source told the ARK News website that the militants of the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces “SDF”, on Sunday, 5/5/2024, kidnapped the 13-year-old child (Nora Omar Miqdad), born on the 25/2/2011", while she was going to school in the town of Tel Rif’at in the countryside of Aleppo, and they took her to compulsory conscription camps.

According to the private source, the kidnapped minor, “Nora Omar Miqdad,” is from the displaced people of the village of Qurt Qulaq, in the Bilbile town of Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan.

Although Mazloum Kobani, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, signed an action plan with Virginia Gamba, the United Nations representative for children and armed conflict, to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and their use in military operations, the involvement of minors in battles and their recruitment continues.
