A statement about the visit of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria to His Excellency President Masoud Barzani

ARK News… His Excellency President Masoud Barzani, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, received the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, with the participation of the Vice President of the Coalition for the Council, the official of the Foreign Relations Office, and the Council’s representative in the negotiating body, at His Excellency’s headquarters in Salahuddin in Erbil,

In this meeting, a review was made of the political situation and developments in the region, their effects on the Syrian situation and ways to find a political solution that ends the tragedy of the Syrian people and achieves its goals, as well as its implications for the future of the Kurds and the solution to their national issue.

The Presidency of the Council also presented the living and security suffering of our people, and stressed the Council’s insistence on continuing its struggle and the importance of strengthening its public and societal presence and in political and diplomatic forums.

It also presented to His Excellency a presentation on the demands of our people residing in the region, and they hope that His Excellency, as we have always entrusted him, will address and meet them.

His Excellency emphasized his continued assistance and support to our people and called for a unity of position that serves their just cause.
