Detainee Hamid Eidi is on hunger strike in PYD prisons

Although more than two months have passed since the kidnapping of the young Hamid Marwan Eidi, who has been kidnapped since June 12, 2022, in the city of Amouda in Syrian Kurdistan the fate of the young man is still unknown, and with the insistence of the PYD administration not to reveal his fate, the young man went on hunger strike On Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Before his kidnapping, the young Hamid Eidi survived a failed assassination attempt in the city of Amouda, then he was kidnapped by the PYD Asayish in the city, and there is no information about him or his fate until now.
Marwan Eidi, a member of the Political Committee of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party - Syria, one of the parties of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and he is the father of the young man, published an appeal on his personal page followed by ARK, in which he said: To all people of conscience among our people and to all those who stand in solidarity with our suffering since the assassination attempt and arrest of Hamid Eidi, To all organizations concerned with human rights, Hamid entered into a hunger strike campaign, starting today, Wednesday, 21/09/2022, until his release or death.
The Council said that PYD shooters, on June 12, opened fire on Abdel Hamid Marwan Eidi, a member of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party - Syria, in Amouda city, and hit his car with a bullet. The souls of our people are being attacked by the armed forces of the Democratic Union, at a time when our people are suffering from dire economic conditions, security and political challenges, and instability as a result of the unilateral and intimidating practices and policies of the Democratic Union administration.
The Council added despite the calls, protests, and solidarity campaigns for the release of Abdel Hamid Eidi and all detainees in the prisons of the Democratic Union Party, they did not care about this and continue to deny his fate until today.
The Council confirmed by saying: We in the Kurdish National Council, at a time when we strongly condemn the intimidating practices against our people and the tightening of the screws on them by the administration of the Democratic Union Party, demand it to reveal the fate of Abdul Hamid Idi and release him with all detainees in its prisons. We also urge the American side to pressure the administration of B. YD and SDF to stop pursuing and arresting anyone who disagrees with them.
In his last appeal, Idi called: to convey his voice to all international bodies concerned with human rights.
