Trump: Iran Has Agreed Not to Possess Nuclear Weapons
ARK News.. U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Iran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons, adding that Iran’s Supreme Leader is participating in negotiations with the United States.
Speaking in an online interview (podcast) on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Trump said that Iran had agreed not to acquire a nuclear weapon and that the Iranian supreme leader is involved in the ongoing talks with the United States.
The U.S. president stated, "They have already agreed not to have a nuclear weapon,” in reference to Iran.
Trump expressed his belief that conditions “will be very good” in the coming period, noting that Iranian Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei is engaged in the ongoing discussions between the two sides.
He also indicated the possibility of holding a meeting with him at a later stage, while predicting that gasoline prices would decline following the end of the current war.
