ARK News: Two villages belonging to Jenderes township of the Kurdish region of Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan, on Friday, September 4, 2020, witnessed clashes between two armed factions, resulting in injuries between the two parties.

An informed source stated to ARK News: The clashes with machine-guns broke out between the two factions of Jaysh al-Islam and the Nour al-Din al-Zanki movement in the villages of “Qijûma û Aşka”, in which there were casualties between the two parties.

Regarding the reasons, the source confirmed that as a result of a dispute over several houses in the two villages, and the priority of seizing them, clashes occurred between the two factions.

Since Turkey and the armed factions took control of the Afrin region, and the region has witnessed from time to time similar clashes, most of which are due to the dispute over the seizure of Kurdish property from fields, agricultural lands, cars, tractors, homes, and real estate.
