Trump: "Our relations with the Kurds are good."
ARK News… US President Donald Trump, on Thursday, August 20, 2020, said that the US relationship with the Kurds is good.
This came, in the course of the US President’s response to a question by the Kurdistan 24 satellite channel during a meeting between Trump and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazhemi in Washington.
Trump told Kurdistan 24, "The Kurds helped us eliminate ISIS one hundred percent, and our relations with the Kurds are good."
On the other hand, Trump stressed that his country would maintain a military force in Iraq "to confront any Iranian action."
Trump said that American companies participate in many oil exploration projects in Iraq, while Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazhemi announced that his country welcomes American companies and investments.
