Reuters: Turkey-backed dissidents, the invention provides Saraqeb control of Idlib in M4 and M5 highways

Saraqeb is a junction where the M5 and M4 highways meet and divide into two. That’s why the town is of great strategic importance.
According to this information, the Syrian army lost its dominance on the highways, which it announced that it had taken full control over the past weeks.
Controlling highways during the civil war, especially when conflicts intensify in the north Sam was one of the main targets of the opposition forces. The strategically critical M5 highway starts from Aleppo to the southern capital of Damascus. M4 highway on the other hand, connects Aleppo to the Mediterranean.
