Afrin ... New fires devour most of Hawar Mount

ARK News: Turkish army and armed groups belonging to it set fire to the Hawar mountain range in Afrin, Kurdistan of Syria, which caused great damage to the area's trees and the forest and the flames are still burning.
“Elements of Turkish army and armed groups set fire to the Hawar mountain range in Afrin, particularly in the mountainous of Cheye village belongs to Rajo town, the flames spread to other areas, without being able to extinguish them, because the roads are rough the flames are still burning, a source in Rajo said.”
A source from the town of Sheye said, that “an armed group set fire, on Monday, July 23, 2018 to the forest between the villages of Aranda and Tirmisha belonging to Sheye town, the trees of the area were burned due to the large fires in the mountains between the two villages mentioned, which extinguished by civil defense teams and civilians from the two villages.”
The forest of the village of Omara was hit by a fire on Saturday, 21/7/2018. Despite the arrival of fire engines from the Local Council in Shara town, but the teams could not extinguish them because of the presence of dry grass and the fire was spread on the large areas of the forest.
In the village of Marsawa belongs to Shara town, where 1200 olive trees were burnt and a section of the village's brush was exposed to the fire before the fire was extinguished by the villagers.
In the village of Bailey belonging to Bilbile town, a fire broke out the trees of the village and with the help of the residents, the fire was extinguished without much damage.
“The fingers point towards the armed groups and the Turkish army, they hold the Turkish government full responsibility as an occupying state of Afrin region and responsible for its security and safety, according to the people of Afrin.”
There are confirmed information by some citizens that some armed groups set fire to forests and the main objective is that it will build residential and tourist areas of people’s properties and make use of firewood in winter, And that the outbreak of fires in these vital areas has more than a question point and the repetition of the assertion that there are hidden hands behind those acts to destroy the infrastructure of the Afrin region. Citizens in these villages appealed to the Humanitarian organizations and the Turkish authorities to investigate and identify the real perpetrators and hold them accountable.
